FAT DOES NOT MAKE YOU FAT; EATING FAT TO LOSE WEIGHT

Too many people go on ridiculous ‘low fat’ diets and I can’t stand this why??? Fat is super important for our body’s as we all need fat for our brain and body to properly function. Fat is also vital for hormone regulation and especially testosterone production, so it is counterproductive to go ‘low fat’. FAT DOES NOT MAKE YOU FAT, its excess calories that make you fat no matter what the macronutrient is so do not be afraid to eat fat to help lose weight.

We should all aim to eat a minimum 0.4g fat per Lb of our lean body weight (body weight – body fat %). EAT FAT BURN FAT!!!

Here are a few of my top, healthy fat sources:

Olive Oil (as a drizzle NOT to cook with)

Almonds

Peanut Butter (only ingredients salt & peanuts, nothing else)

Walnuts

Avocado

Eggs

Salmon
